Champagne Sailing as La Semaine Olympique Française is Hyères again
The 57th edition of La Semaine Olympique Française de Hyères – TPM (France’s Olympic sailing week) began on Monday in Champagne Côte d’Azur conditions as 705 competitors from 59 nations started six days of racing.

The world’s best Olympic sailors are rigged and raring to go for the start of the 57th edition of the Semaine Olympique Française - France’s Olympic Sailing Week.
Racing begins tomorrow, Monday April 20 at 11:00. Between challenging weather conditions, sporting stakes sharpening towards Los Angeles 2028 and the return of the event village, the competition will be intense - on and off the water. Sunday saw the official launch with the opening ceremony at 18:00.

Three days to go until the 57th French Olympic Week of Hyères – Toulon Provence Méditerranée’s kick-off, the line-up is taking shape. More than 700 athletes from 59 nations are getting ready to take over the Bay of Hyères for one of the highlights of the international calendar. Across the ten Olympic classes on the program, the level promises to be high and the show worthy of this iconic and demanding race area.
Second stage of the Sailing Grand Slam, from 18 to 25 April 2026, the French Olympic Week Hyères – TPM (SOF) just publish her sailing instructions. Organised by the French Sailing Federation, this iconic event will bring together several hundred sailors from more than 50 nations, competing across the ten Olympic disciplines: single-handed dinghy for women and men (ILCA 6 & ILCA 7), double-handed dinghy (49er FX & 49er), windfoil (iQFOil), kitefoil (Formula Kite), the mixed double dinghy (470) and the mixed double catamaran (Nacra 17).

In exactly one month’s time, the Bay of Hyères will once again become one of the global hubs of Olympic sailing. From 18 to 25 April 2026, the French Olympic Week Hyères – TPM (SOF) will welcome the world’s best sailors for the second stage of the Sailing Grand Slam, the leading international circuit for Olympic sailing classes.

Sailing Grand Slam (SGS) today announced the publication of the 2026 Notice of Race (NOR) for its full series of Olympic-class events, marking the first complete edition of the international circuit after a successful pilot season in 2025. The publication gives teams a clear, long-term framework for their road to Los Angeles 2028, with a series built around one simple principle: the sailor comes first.
